Design In the design and development process of our W58 and R154 short shifter to suit the SC300 and Soarer. We turned into total “shifter nerds”, to create the best driver experience. All aspects where considered, not only reduced shifter throw, we also considered other super important elements such as shifter centring, accuracy of gear lever movement (both front to rear and side to side), all of which goes toward making the shifter gate as defined as possible, so you have no doubt of which gear you are in when you release the clutch (no chance of accidentally selecting reverse gear!)

Will not vehicles with tripod mount shifters which have a straight shifter lever. Before ordering it is highly recommended to check the shape of you shifter lever under the gear lever boot/gaitor. If your shifter lever has a "Z" bend in it our shifter will fit (direct mount shifter), if the shifter lever is straight our shifter will not fit (Tripod mount shifter).
